Do you plan to earn one of the following while attending Westmoreland? Associate Degree: Associate of Applied Science - This program is technical in nature, and does not necessilary transfer. Students must complete at least 60 credit hours. Associate of Arts - This program is for students who have an intent to transfer to a four-year college or university. It includes 30-48 hours of general education. Students must complete at least 60 credit hours to graduate. Associate of Fine Arts - This program is for students who have the intent to transfer to a Fine Arts program in a four-year college or university. It includes 19 hours of general education. Students must complete at least 60 credit hours to graduate. Diploma - For students who are interested in specific career courses. This program exceeds 30 credit hours. Certificate - A short term program focused on work force entry. This program is approximately 15-23 credit hours.
